I'm a software engineer with a degree from UC San Diego in cognitive science especializing in machine learning and neural computation.

I love creating cool projects and am always up for a new challenge!

Software Engineer @ Attentive Mobile

August 2022 - September 2023

Expedited operations within the Client Strategy team by 50% by building new client-facing features using React, TypeScript, Java, and SQL.
Boosted speed of access to client data for the MOPS team by 87.5% by upgrading internal tools using Python and Airflow.
Increased adoption of the email campaigns feature by implementing React and TypeScript components in the client UI that displayed real-time statistics.
Assisted the security team in ensuring client data protection by transferring 10+ services using AWS, DynamoDB, and SQL.

Facilitated client management by upgrading the original legacy UI to a more accessible, reliable, and user-friendly web app and API using React, TypeScript, Java, and SQL.

STEAM Education Intern @ Center of Global Justice at UCSD

January 2020 - September 2021

Provided technology education to 35+ children in Tijuana, Mexico by developing a computer literacy program.
Enabled access to technology to 500+ community members in Tijuana through repurposing the university’s e-waste.

This is a chat GPT clone built using React and Node.js. I wanted to build this project to test out the OpenAI API.
Platformer Game

This project was my first attempt at building a game! It's a simple platformer built using PyGame. I'm currently working on version 2.0 to expand the levels available.
Tip Calculator
- Swift
This is a tip calculator app built for iOS using Swift. The tip can be calculated based on bill total and percentage chosen by the user. This app can also return what each party member should pay and stores user preferences.
